Mark Leviste Supports Son’s Friendship with Kris Aquino
MARK LEVISTE – The Batangas Vice Governor spoke about his son Ronin’s recent visit to Kris Aquino. Despite his past relationship with Kris ending, Mark expressed happiness that Ronin has maintained a good friendship with her.
In an interview with Dolly Anne Carvajal of Philstar, Mark shared that when he was still with Kris, it was easy for him to love her because he was willing to do whatever she needed. He said he felt both passion and deep care for her, especially during her difficult battle with illness.
Now that their relationship has ended, Mark emphasized that he does not interfere with his children’s decisions, including whom they choose to visit. “My kids are already adults and can make their own decisions, so I don’t interfere with whom they choose to see or where they go,” he stated.
Mark also expressed gratitude that his children value friendship and respect relationships, whether from the past or present. He hopes Ronin’s visit brought joy to Kris and wished her a speedy recovery. “I also pray for her immediate recovery so she can spend more quality time with her family and friends, and make a comeback in showbiz, as her fans truly miss her on TV. All is well,” he added.
Aside from Ronin’s visit, Mark also shared that he recently had the chance to spend time with Josh, Kris’s son, at a wedding reception.
Meanwhile, Kris Aquino and Mark Leviste had a brief but highly publicized relationship. They first met when Leviste was a contestant on Aquino’s game show Deal or No Deal but reconnected years later through social media. Their romance became evident when Leviste supported Aquino during her medical treatments in the U.S.
However, their long-distance setup proved challenging. Aquino, focused on her health and family, acknowledged that Leviste had political aspirations to fulfill. In July 2023, she confirmed their breakup, stating they were not enemies but simply not meant for each other. Since then, Leviste has moved on, and both have focused on their respective lives.
