It’s Showtime Removes Marco Adobas from TNT
MARCO ADOBAS – A contestant in Tawag ng Tanghalan (TNT) All-Star Grand Resbak 2025 has been officially disqualified after allegedly violating the agreement he signed before the competition.
The decision was formally announced by It’s Showtime through an official statement on its Facebook page, explaining that Marco’s actions directly went against the rules outlined in his contract. As a result, he was removed from Pangkat Alon and is no longer eligible to continue in the competition.
The controversy intensified when Marco made serious allegations against the competition and the show through his social media posts. According to It’s Showtime, his public statements not only breached the competition’s policies but could also have legal consequences. While specific details about the alleged violation were not disclosed, netizens speculated that the issue stemmed from Marco’s posts referring to the competition as a “cooking show,” implying unfair judging and biased results.
To ensure that all competing teams remained complete, the show decided to replace Marco with Arvery Lagoring, a former contestant from Pangkat Amihan. The decision was officially announced on It’s Showtime’s social media platforms and reiterated during the live broadcast. Hosts Vhong Navarro, Jhong Hilario, and Vice Ganda confirmed the update on-air, emphasizing the importance of fairness and adherence to the show’s rules.
Meanwhile, Marco Adobas has broken his silence on the issue, stating that he has already spoken with It’s Showtime management. He admitted to his mistake, extended a public apology, and confirmed that everything has now been settled. He explained that his actions were driven by emotions and asked the public for understanding regarding the situation.
“Sa mga wala pong alam sa nangyari. May pag uusap na po sa pagitan ng management ng showtime. At ako po ay humingi ng kapatawaran sa aking nagawa at okay na po ang lahat. Ako po ay nadala ng bugso ng aking emosyon. Kaya sana po ay maunawaan niyo na,” he wrote. “boss di ako kinasuhan ng abs cbn. Inareglo po at nilinaw po namin lahat ng aking pagkakamali. Kaya sana malinaw na po sa inyo,” he added.
