On Saturday, March 8, 2025, Jellie shared a screenshot of the post in question on her Instagram Story. The post contained a supposed quote from her, implying that true love requires swallowing one’s pride and ego for the sake of happiness. The full statement read: “Kung talagang nagsisisi at magbabago bakit hindi diba? Ganon naman kapag nagmamahal, lulunukin mo yung ego and pride mo just to be happy.”
Alongside the quote was a photo of Jellie’s bruised and swollen face—an image that had gone viral after she accused Jam of physically assaulting her. The post was dated March 2, 2025.
Jellie immediately refuted the post’s authenticity. In her Instagram Story, she sarcastically called out the person responsible, saying, “GALING NG GUMAWA NETO! PALAKPAKAN SA MUKA!”
