ML Partylist, Led by Leila de Lima, Endorsed by Nadine Lustre

NADINE LUSTRE – The actress has officially endorsed the Mamamayang Liberal (ML) Partylist, led by former Senator Leila de Lima.

In a one-minute video released on Thursday, February 20, Lustre expressed her support for the partylist, highlighting issues such as government abuse, lack of transparency in public funds, and controversies surrounding confidential funds and illegal Philippine Offshore Gaming Operator (POGO) hubs.

“Realtalk. Sawa na ba kayo? Sawa na sa mga abusado sa kapangyarihan? Sa mga nasa pwesto na hindi marunong magpaliwanag kung saan napunta ang pera ng bayan” Lustre asked, emphasizing the need for accountability. She also pointed out that while drama is acceptable in movies and television, it has no place in governance. “Nakakapagod. Pero, may laban tayo,” she added.

The video also featured De Lima’s acquittal from her third and final drug case. “Si Manay Leila de Lima ilang taong ikinulong nang walang kasalanan pero lumaban. Ngayon, kasama niya ang ML Partylist para ipaglaban ang katarungan, pananagutan, at tunay na representasyon,” Lustre stated.

Aside from De Lima, the ML Partylist nominees include Teddy Baguilat Jr. and Erin Tañada. “ML na ako. Tara, ML na din kayo!” Lustre concluded.
