Zac Efron Surprises a Pinay Virtual Assistant During a Video Call with Her Client
ZAC EFRON – A Filipino virtual assistant recently experienced a once-in-a-lifetime moment when the Hollywood star unexpectedly joined her client’s video call.
Gilliane Azuro, a virtual assistant based in Davao, shared her excitement on social media, describing how her client, Caleb, introduced her to Efron as “the best assistant.” In a screenshot she posted, Efron, casually dressed in a white T-shirt and cap, is seen smiling and flashing a peace sign while sitting next to Caleb.
During the call, Efron turned to Azuro and warmly greeted her, saying, “Hi, Gilliane! How are you?” Completely surprised, she admitted that she could hardly remember her response due to overwhelming excitement. However, she managed to snap a screenshot to capture the unforgettable interaction.
Her story quickly went viral, with many online users reacting to her unexpected celebrity encounter. Fellow virtual assistants also shared their surprising moments with high-profile clients. In her post, Azuro expressed her amazement at how casually Efron and Caleb interacted, highlighting their close friendship.
Meanwhile, Zac Efron is an American actor who gained fame as Troy Bolton in High School Musical (2006–2008). He later starred in Hairspray (2007), 17 Again (2009), Neighbors (2014), Baywatch (2017), and The Greatest Showman (2017). Efron also portrayed Ted Bundy in Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile (2019) and Kevin Von Erich in The Iron Claw (2023).
