Male Netizen Shares His First-Time Experience at Starbucks
A male netizen shared his funny experience trying Starbucks coffee for the first time way back in 1999.
Recently, Angelito G. Villanueva, a Facebook user, took to social media to recount his amusing first-time experience at Starbucks coffee. The post quickly gained attention and sparked laughter among the online community.
According to Angelito, it was his first and only Starbucks experience, and the coffee was a treat from his office colleague, Sir Anthony Menor. At the time, Angelito was working a rare office day in Makati City, and Sir Anthony, likely out of kindness, invited him to try Starbucks.

For someone used to drinking 3-in-1 instant coffee, stepping into the upscale coffee shop was a new and slightly intimidating experience.
As they entered the Starbucks branch near Ayala, Makati, Angelito was struck by the strong coffee aroma and the sight of tempting but pricey cakes. The ambiance was calm, with soft piano music playing in the background and customers quietly reading, working on laptops, or chatting in English.
Angelito observed the minimalist decor, inspirational quotes on the walls, and displays of tumblers and planners.

When it was time to order, Villanueva admitted feeling nervous. The cashier greeted them, and he was unsure what to say, so he pointed to Sir Anthony to take charge. Sir Anthony asked what Vilanueva wanted, but being a first-timer unfamiliar with the fancy menu, Angelito jokingly replied, “Something cold, coffee but cold,” imagining drinks like a float.
Eventually, the man simply asked for the same drink as Sir Anthony, adding humor to the interaction, much to the cashier’s amusement.

“Year 1999.
“Welcome to starbucks, what’s your order?”
The stage is yours. ‘Langya nagtanong pa eh first time ko sa de-kalibreng kapihan. Ahahaha
Tara kape phow tayo!!!”
