Vlogger to Acquaintance Who Mocked Him For Not Using Private Vehicle “Masaya mag-commute”
A vlogger shared his experience of being ridiculed by an acquaintance simply because he chose to commute instead of using a private vehicle.
Recently, Berniecular Vlogs, a popular Facebook content creator, posted about an incident where someone saw him on a bus and laughed at him, commenting that he looked exhausted and pitiful.
The acquaintance questioned why he was commuting when he had a car, suggesting that he should either drive or hire a personal driver. The vlogger explained that commuting was a more practical option for him.
It helped him save money and even allowed him to rest during travel, something he wouldn’t be able to do if he were driving. However, the acquaintance insisted that he was being too frugal and should prioritize convenience over cost-saving measures.
Many netizens agreed with the vlogger’s point of view, saying that commuting is a wise financial choice and should not be seen as embarrassing.
He also emphasized the importance of respecting personal choices. People have different reasons for their commuting preferences, and there is nothing wrong with choosing a more economical and practical mode of transportation.
