Pilipinas Got Talent (PGT) is a Philippine television reality competition show based on the American version of Got Talent. It aired on ABS-CBN from February 20, 2010, to April 29, 2018, and was initially hosted by Luis Manzano and Billy Crawford. The show allows people from across the Philippines to showcase their talents, with auditions held in various key cities such as Manila, Cebu, and Davao.
In the competition, auditionees perform their acts in front of a panel of judges, and if they receive approval votes, they move on to the next stage, the Judges’ Cuts. Only a limited number of acts make it to the semi-finals. The winner of each season receives ₱2,000,000 and the title of Pilipinas Got Talent. The show has featured singing acts, interpretative dance performances, and other types of talents.
The franchise was acquired by ABS-CBN, making it the first nationwide talent reality show in the Philippines, though other networks also have similar formats. Pilipinas Got Talent was replaced by Your Face Sounds Familiar Kids after its sixth season. The show has produced six winners, including the late singer Jovit Baldivino (Season 1), Marcelito Pomoy (Season 2), Maasinhon Trio (Season 3), Roel Manlangit (Season 4), Power Duo (Season 5), and Kristel de Catalina (Season 6).
