Groom Fatally Shot Hours Before His Wedding in Ilocos Norte
ILOCOS NORTE – A joyful celebration turned into a heartbreaking tragedy when 59-year-old groom Andres Dacquioag was shot and killed just hours before his wedding in Laoag City. The incident occurred early Wednesday, shortly after his bachelor’s party.
According to police reports, Dacquioag was standing outside a convenience store with his fiancée when an unidentified gunman approached and opened fire. He sustained gunshot wounds to the head and back. Despite being rushed to the hospital, he was pronounced dead on arrival due to the severity of his injuries.
