HERLENE BUDOL – The beauty queen-turned-actress openly shared that the actor she found most intimidating was the award-winning Mon Confiado.
When host Mikee Quintos asked her which industry colleagues she would prefer not to work with, Herlene quickly clarified that she had no issues with any fellow artists. However, she did mention Mon as the actor who left a strong impression on her due to the fear she felt while working with him.
Herlene Budol confessed that although she wanted to collaborate with Mon again, she felt genuinely scared during their time together on the show Tadhana. Her fear was not related to personal conflict but stemmed from Mon’s incredible talent and his ability to fully immerse himself in his role. She mentioned that Mon’s acting was so powerful that it evoked real fear during their scenes together. “Grabe sobrang galing niya, talagang tinakot niya ako, pero gusto ko pa rin siyang makatrabaho…” she said.
The actress described Mon as the best male antagonist she has ever worked with, acknowledging the emotional impact of his performance. Despite the intense fear, Herlene’s admiration for Mon’s craft only grew stronger.
Nevertheless, Herlene expressed excitement about the possibility of future collaborations with Mon, indicating that her respect for him as an actor far outweighed her initial apprehension.
