Glam Team of Maris Racal Speaks Up Amid Her Issue with Anthony Jennings
MARIS RACAL – The actress’ glam team recently spoke out to defend their client after she faced heavy criticism on social media over her issue with actor Anthony Jennings.
In an Instagram post, makeup artist Jay Salcedo explained that they were completely unaware that Anthony was still in a relationship when he began flirting with Maris. “We were just as clueless as everybody else. He’s single. Yun ang chika to everyone,” Jay shared.
Adrianne, another member of the team, echoed Jay’s statement, adding that they only learned about Anthony’s infidelity when the public did. She made it clear that they did not condone any form of cheating and stood firmly with women who have experienced gaslighting and betrayal.
Anthony Jennings has apologized to Maris Racal and Jam Villanueva after controversy arose when Jam accused him of betraying their seven-year relationship by getting involved with Maris. Jam shared private conversations and alleged lies about Anthony’s whereabouts, exposing exchanges between him and Maris.
In his apology, Anthony expressed regret, saying, “Sa lahat ho ng mga nangyari nung nakaraang araw, sa lahat ho ng mga taong nasaktan ko, especially po si Maris tsaka si Jam, humihingi ho ako ng tawad sa dalawang babae and sa lahat po ng mga nadamay ko rin po. ‘Yun lamang po, sorry po ulit.”
Maris, who was unaware of Anthony’s relationship issues when they began connecting, shared her shock and humiliation after private messages were made public without her consent. She took responsibility for her part, apologized to her supporters, and vowed to learn from the experience.
Meanwhile, Boy Abunda pointed out a part of her story that didn’t quite add up—when she claimed she didn’t know Anthony was still with Jam Villanueva. He referred to a conversation where Maris asked Anthony to delete their messages, which made him question whether she truly didn’t know what was going on.
