Anti-Poverty Czar Larry Gadon Wants Vice Pres. Sara Duterte Disbarred
LARRY GADON – The Presidential Adviser for Poverty Alleviation Secretary filed a disbarment case against Vice Pres. Sara Duterte.
Countless Filipinos were left in doubts amid the deteriorating relationship between Pres. Bongbong Marcos and Vice Pres. Sara Duterte. A lot of Filipinos are wondering about the future of the country in this situation when the two (2) highest officials in the government don’t agree.
Whenever Marcos Jr. is away for overseas events, the “caretaker” of the Philippines is not Duterte. The Chief Executive previously explained that the Vice President is still part of the government but no longer part of his administration.
The public noticed a souring relationship between Vice Pres. Sara Duterte and Pres. Bongbong Marcos when she resigned from being the secretary of DepEd (Department of Education). Vice Pres. Duterte also rated Pres. Marcos’ performance with “one” when asked to rate him in a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the highest.
Duterte also claimed that Marcos Jr. allegedly does not know how to be a president. She also recently agreed to the statement of former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte that the Philippines is allegedly under a “fractured governance” right now.
Former Pres. Duterte took swipe at Pres. Marcos and called on the military to protect the Constitution. The former Chief Executive expressed no worries regarding the issues surrounding his daughter, Vice Pres. Duterte.
Recently, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte issued statements that seemingly triggered threats on the lives of Pres. Bongbong Marcos, First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos, and House Speaker Martin Romualdez. It hooked national attention and even the President released a statement mentioning the alarming statements.
Presidential Adviser for Poverty Alleviation Secretary Larry Gadon also recently took a move on the statement of Vice Pres. Sara Duterte against Pres. Bongbong Marcos. Gadon is a disbarred leader who is currently an anti-poverty czar.
Larry Gadon filed a disbarment case against Vice Pres. Sara Duterte before the Supreme Court. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, the disbarred lawyer stressed that the statements of the Vice President were “undoubtedly illegal, immoral and condemnable”.
Gadon stressed in his letter before the Supreme Court that the live press conference on Zoom of Duterte was shared on several social media platforms and seen by millions of Filipinos. Based on the report, the anti-poverty Czar also recalled the 2011 incident involving Duterte wherein the Supreme Court has allegedly failed to make a move.
According to Larry Gadon, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte “was not disbarred nor at least suspended”. He believes that he was allegedly treated without fairness that resulted to his disbarment but he expressed his belief “that the institution will outlive some bias minds and personalities in the High Court” regarding the case he filed against Duterte.
Aside from her tirades against Pres. Bongbong Marcos, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte also implicated the Marcoses in the death of Ninoy Aquino.
