VP Sara Duterte Agrees on Former Pres. Duterte’s Claim vs. Pres. Bongbong Marcos
SARA DUTERTE – The Vice President seconded the claim of her father linking President Bongbong Marcos to drugs as has yet to agree on a test.
The feud between the Dutertes and the Marcoses are seemingly getting deeper and deeper. In the recent months, the Vice President has released several tirades against the Chief Executive and his family. She even accused the Marcoses of allegedly being the one responsible in the death of the late former Senator Ninoy Aquino.
Many Filipinos speculate that Vice Pres. Duterte linking the Marcoses into the death of Ninoy Aquino is allegedly another way to divert the focus of the people from the issue of the Confidential Funds. The Vice President is being questioned regarding the use of the CIFs of the Office of the Vice President (OVP) and the Department of Education (DepEd).
Vice Pres. Sara Duterte also previously claimed that Pres. Bongbong Marcos allegedly does not know how to be a president. They were running mates in the 2022 Elections and millions of Filipinos supported the BBM-Sara tandem.
However, it was since Duterte’s resignation from being the education secretary when the public noticed a souring relationship between the President and the Vice President of the country. She also threatened the Marcoses that she will exhume the remains of Marcos Sr. and throw it into the West Philippine Sea if the alleged attacks against her don’t stop.
Former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte also previously accused Pres. Bongbong Marcos of drug use. However, recently, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte seconded the accusation of her father against the Chief Executive. Based on a report on Inquirer, the VP stressed that the President allegedly keeps on refusing to undergo a drug test.
“He continuously refuses to do a drug test,” Vice Pres. Duterte said referring to Pres. Marcos.
Furthermore, based on the report, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte agreed with former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte’s statement that Pres. Bongbong Marcos is allegedly running a “fractured government”. She made the statement in an interview at the Veterans Memorial Medical Center.
Two (2) of the staff members of the Office of the Vice President were rushed to VMMC. OVP Chief-of-Staff Attorney Zuleika Lopez was rushed to the hospital during her detention at the House of Representatives. She was cited for contempt for an alleged “interference”.
During a recent hearing, another OVP staff member fell ill during the inquiry and was rushed to the hospital. Vice Pres. Duterte assisted both Atty. Lopez and OVP Special Disbursement Officer Gina Acosta when they were brought to the hospital.
