Former Vice President Leni Robredo joined relief operations in Naga City on Thursday as Severe Tropical Storm Kristine caused widespread flooding. Robredo waded through waist-high floodwaters with volunteers to distribute relief packs and water to affected residents.

As the storm intensified, Robredo called for additional rubber boats and relief assistance to help displaced families, particularly in her hometown of Naga.
Her Angat Bayanihan network responded swiftly, delivering essential goods not just to Naga but to other areas severely impacted by the storm. Robredo thanked donors and volunteers for their quick and generous support, emphasizing the importance of solidarity in challenging times.
“Walang humpay ang aming pasasalamat sa mabilis na pagtugon at pakikipagbayanihan ng ating donors at volunteers. Maraming salamat po!” Robredo expressed.
