Ai-Ai delas Alas Participates in Angelica Yulo’s Live Selling Event
Ai-Ai delas Alas – The Comedy Queen fulfilled her promise to join Angelica Yulo, the mother of two-time Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo, for a live-selling event on October 15, 2024.
The event took place in a karaoke bar in Malate, Manila, where Ai-Ai and Angelica sold various clothing items to their followers. Notable internet personalities like Director Darryl Yap and Boss Toyo also joined in, purchasing items from Angelica.
During the event, Ai-Ai and Angelica expressed mutual admiration for one another. Ai-Ai even invited Angelica to be a guest on her show, “The Clash, Agad-Agad,” which is available on Ai-Ai’s official Facebook page.
Mark Andrew Yulo later joined the gathering, performing a song with Ai-Ai. Ai-Ai asked Angelica if Carlos had sent birthday greetings to his father, to which Angelica replied that she didn’t know. Ai-Ai has previously aligned herself with ‘Team Nanay,’ amidst Carlos Yulo’s ongoing issues with his parents, where he accused them of misusing the earnings from his international competitions. Carlos has since refused to reconnect with his parents.
Meanwhile, Ai-Ai, whose real name is Martina Eileen Hernandez delas Alas-Sibayan is an actress, comedian, singer, and television personality. Known as the “Queen of Comedy,” she gained fame for her role as Ina Montecillo in the popular film series “Ang Tanging Ina.” Her career spans decades, with numerous accolades, including awards from the Star Awards for Movies, FAMAS, Metro Manila Film Festival, and more.
Ai-Ai started her career in the entertainment industry as a host and stand-up comedian before transitioning to acting in television and film. She has worked with major networks like GMA, ABS-CBN, and TV5, and has starred in a variety of comedy films, which have made her the highest-grossing Filipino comedy actress.
