Sam Verzosa Selling 10 Luxury Cars to Build a Dialysis Center

Sam Verzosa Selling 10 High-End Vehicles to Fund a Dialysis Center

SAM VERZOSA – A TV host and public servant made headlines by announcing the sale of his luxury car collection to fund the construction of a Dialysis and Diagnostic Center in Sampaloc, Manila, where he grew up.

This decision was revealed during his appearance in front of the entertainment media on September 29. Verzosa aims to raise over P200 million from the sale of these luxury exotic supercars, which include high-end models like Rolls Royce, Lamborghini SV, Bentley, and Ferrari, among others.

Verzosa expressed that the Bentley he sold, valued at P20 million, held significant sentimental value as it was a dream car of his late father. He shared that his father had requested him to buy it, but unfortunately, he passed away before it arrived. Sam reflected on the emotional dilemma of keeping the car for sentimental reasons versus selling it to help others. He believes his father would be proud to know that the proceeds would benefit dialysis patients, emphasizing his father’s teachings about generosity and helping those in need.

The decision to build the dialysis center stems from a growing demand for medical assistance expressed by people in the community. Verzosa noted that he frequently receives messages on social media asking how he could assist those with health issues. The new center will add to the existing medical services provided by the SV mobile units, which are equipped with laboratory equipment, X-rays, ECGs, ultrasounds, and a mobile pharmacy that delivers medications to residents.

In addition to the Sampaloc center, Verzosa has plans to establish dialysis centers in other areas, including Tondo, Ermita, and Malate. His initiative aims to provide free treatment for the less fortunate and address the healthcare needs of his community, reflecting his commitment to giving back to the place where he grew up.
