PNP Authorities Yet To Locate Pastor Apollo Quiboloy Despite Massive Search Ops
PASTOR APOLLO QUIBOLOY – The Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) revealed the reason why the Pastor has yet to surrender to the authorities citing a “threat”.
One of the high-profile personalities with a pending arrest order issued by the Senate but has yet to be arrested by the authorities is KOJC founder and leader Apollo Quiboloy. There are complaints filed against him but the authorities could not locate him.
The Senate released an arrest order against the Pastor Apollo Quiboloy after he skipped the inquiry set by the upper chamber. Supposedly, the complaints against the Pastor will be discussed at the hearing. He was cited for contempt for his absence.
Amid the search for the whereabouts of the KOJC Founder, the Department of Interior and Local Government or DILG previously announced that a reward money is up for information that could lead to Pastor Apollo Quiboloy’s arrest.
The interior department also said that reward money is also up for information on the whereabouts of the co-accused of the Pastor. Amid the rumors and speculations that the Pastor is hiding in Davao, only a co-accused of Quiboloy was arrested by the authorities in Davao.
Amid the search for Pastor Apollo Quiboloy, the Court of Appeals previously issued a Freeze Order on the assets of Quiboloy. Recently, the Anti-Money Laundering Council announced that the Court has extended the Freeze Order on the bank accounts and properties registered under the name of the Pastor and the KOJC up to February 2025.
The Philippine National Police (PNP) authorities are now on their 7th day in their pursuit to search the KOJC compound in Davao City to find Pastor Apollo Quiboloy. Based on a report on ABS-CBN, the KOJC recently revealed why the Pastor refuses to surrender.
According to Attorney Israelito Torreon, the spokesman of KOJC and legal counsel of the Pastor, his client refuses to surrender to the authorities because of an alleged “extraordinary rendition”. Aside from the charges up against him in the Philippines, there were also complaints filed against him in the United States.
“May extraordinary rendition na dadalahin siya sa Amerika without proving his innocence here in the country,” Atty. Torreon said.
The lawyer of Quiboloy further expressed that the Pastor is allegedly at the center of a “political play” now and he wants confirmation from the Philippine President. Pastor Quiboloy has set a condition for Pres. Bongbong Marcos for him to surrender to the authorities.
