Ryan Benitez Appeals for Understanding Amid Accusations Against Jojo Nones
RYAN BENITEZ – The partner of Jojo Nones, one of GMA Network’s independent contractors accused of exploiting Sandro Muhlach, has appealed to the public for understanding.
In a social media post, Ryan asked for compassion amid the criticism Jojo is receiving from netizens. He expressed confidence in Jojo’s character, stating that despite his imperfections, those who truly know Jojo have experienced his love and kindness.
Ryan emphasized that the accused are human beings affected by early judgments and urged people to reserve their opinions and let the legal process unfold. He acknowledged that while opinions about Jojo and Dode might be negative now, they too have family and friends who are suffering.
“In the midst of the chaos, I hope people can be compassionate enough to reserve their judgment about Jojo and Dode and let the wheels of justice run their course,” Ryan said. “You may have unfavorable opinion of them now, but Jojo and Dode are people too—with family and friends who love them and who are also hurting.” he added.
According to PEP.ph, Jojo Nones is currently spending his nights at the Senate building after being cited for contempt for repeatedly denying the charges against him.
Meanwhile, after filing a complaint against GMA-7 independent contractors Jojo Nones and Dode Cruz with the DOJ, Sandro Muhlach appeared at a Senate hearing to speak about the issue. He apologized for missing previous hearings due to health reasons and expressed his fear and embarrassment over the situation. Sandro admitted to struggling with anxiety, sleeplessness, and a lack of appetite.
He revealed that he is still not okay but is trying to manage his situation to avoid worrying his family. Sandro also shared that his mother, who is in the U.S., is distressed over not being able to protect him. He confessed it was difficult to speak up and feared it might affect his career at GMA, which he has worked hard to build.
