Sam Verzosa Explains Why He’s Giving Expensive Canned Goods for Relief Program

Why Sam Verzosa Was Giving Expensive Canned Goods for a Relief Program?

SAM VERZOSA – The Tutok To Win party-list Representative clarified his choice of providing expensive canned goods during his relief program.

Versoza gained attention on social media when he showcased the premium relief items he planned to distribute across various districts in Manila, including Spam, Delimondo, and Korean Noodles. He explained that these were items he had previously craved but could not afford due to financial constraints.

He added that now that he can afford to provide special foods, he wants to share them with those in need, believing they deserve more than just basic items like sardines during tough times. “Ito yung mga paborito ko so bakit hindi ko ipatikim sa mga kababayan ko? Naghihirap na nga, e, minsan nasusunugan, minsan nababaha, sardinas pa ang ipapatikim sa kanila. So, kung makakaya ko naman, ibibigay ko yung minsan lang nila matikman,” he said.
