Cake Vendor Expresses Dismay After Non-Buying Customers Opens Cakes Boxes
A cake vendor expressed her frustration after several boxes of her cakes were damaged by customers who didn’t intend to buy them.
Recently, the Facebook page “Dainty Cakes by Pia” shared a photo of her damaged cake boxes after opened by non-buying customers. The post quickly spread online and garnered various reactions from the netizens.
The vendor, Pia, shared her disappointment over the frequent occurrence of non-buying customers opening the lids of her cake boxes, leading to damage.
Pia explained that she strategically placed her chiller at the front of her shop to showcase her products to potential customers. However, she was dismayed by those who opened the boxes and caused damage without purchasing anything.
The store owner emphasized that the transparent packaging was specifically chosen to allow customers to see the products inside without needing to open the boxes. The entrepreneur questioned why some felt the need to open the lids.
Thankfully, none of her custom cakes were affected by these incidents. However, Pia was still heartbroken by the treatment of her hard work and efforts to create products her customers would enjoy.

“Nakakalungkot po talaga na ganito palagi yung mangyayari, nasa harap po kasi yung chiller ko naka display at sinadya ko talaga yan para makita talaga ng mga potential customers ko yung products. Pero wag naman sana umabot sa punto na bubuksan niyo lahat ng may takip at hindi niyo naman bibilhin tapos masisira pa habang binubuksan niyo. Naka transparent naman nga po yung lalagyan natin para makita niyo ang product sa loob, bakita kailangan niyo pa buksan? Para mansinghot ba yung amoy? Nakakalungkot po marami akong nakitang mga ganito klasing customers, yung di lang man nag ask ng assistance regarding sa mga kukunin nila sa chiller, buti nalang wala pang mga customize cake ko na nadamay na madamage sa mga ganitong pangyayari.
Heartbroken po talaga ako na ganito yung trato ninyo sa mga produkto na pinaghirapan ko at ginawa ko talaga para magustuhan niyo sana kung ganito lang naman, binili niyo nalang ”
