Kapuso Actress Bea Alonzo Shortly Speaks on Breakup with Dominic Roque
BEA ALONZO – The Kapuso actress revealed that she was not the one who initiated her breakup with her ex-fiance, Dominic Roque.
One of the celebrity breakups this year that shocked a lot of people was Bea and Dominic’s breakup. Truth be told that what made their breakup more surprising and unexpected is that the former celebrity couple was already heading to getting married when they mutually decided to part ways.
Last July 18, 2023, in an event which Bea thought to be just a photoshoot, Dominic asked for the actress’ hand in marriage. They were together for four (4) years then and the actor’s message was evident that they went through a lot in their relationship but they enjoy each other’s company.
Bea Alonzo and Dominic Roque’s engagement took the social media platforms by storm. It also left the people close to their hearts crying tears of happiness for them. However, at the start of 2024, there were several issues and speculations that the celebrity couple might have called it quits.
Several famous personalities in the Philippine entertainment industry also spoke on the then-alleged breakup of the two celebrities. Boy Abunda was the one who confirmed the breakup of BeaDom after several allegations. There were rumors that dragged the name of Angeli Khang in Dominic and Bea’s split.
Amid the issues, Bea flew abroad with her family. Both she and Dominic remained mum on their split. Both celebrities earned criticisms and accusations over their separation.
One of the breakup allegations was that Bea Alonzo was the one who broke up with Dominic Roque. Recently, in an interview with Nelson Canlas aired on 24 Oras, the actress clarified that she was not the one who initiated the breakup.
According to Bea, she was more affected by the “false narratives” about her life. She stressed that it is already something to go through a difficult situation in silence and it is another thing to be going through it in front of the public with a different narrative.
Bea filed charges against Cristy Fermin. Dominic also filed a case against the showbiz columnist.
Bea refused to give further details on her breakup with Dominic. Speaking to Nelson, she explained her belief that it would be disrespectful to the relationship and to the other person to talk about it. She also stressed that it’s a very sensitive topic and she wants to leave what they had in a good way.
