Paul Klein of LANY was involved in an accident
PAUL KLEIN – The frontman of LANY had an accident, prompting the band to postpone their upcoming shows in Australia and New Zealand to allow him time to recover.
Klein shared the news on social media, revealing that the accident occurred while he was riding his Vespa home from the gym last Thursday night. He recounted waking up in an ambulance with mobility challenges but assured fans that his vitals were stable.
“I got hit by a car while I was on my Vespa heading home from the gym,” he said. “I don’t really remember anything after the collision… I woke up on a stretcher being put into an ambulance,” he added.
Despite his improving condition, doctors advised rescheduling the shows for his speedy recovery. Klein expressed gratitude to fans and promised to announce new dates soon. The band’s other tour dates, including performances in Manila and Cebu in October, remain unaffected.
Klein also shared photos of his recovery in the hospital and thanked followers for their support, expressing eagerness to return to performing once healed. LANY previously visited the Philippines in 2022 for a series of concerts, during which Zack Tabudlo and Juan Karlos joined them.
