Video of EXpecially For You’s Christine Crying While Talking with It’s Showtime Staff
CHRISTINE – A participant in the “It’s Showtime” segment “EXpecially For You,” went viral on social media after being seen talking to a staff member of the show.
This occurred after Vice Ganda made a statement that seemed to portray Christine negatively. In a video shared by Jhelo Bernabe, Christine is seen crying and expressing her frustration to the staff, saying that the show made her look like a liar and that they did not feel guilty about it. The staff member reassured her that they were trying to resolve the issue.
“Pinagmukha niyo akong sinungaling, paano naman ako?” she said. “Hindi nga po kayo nakonsensya sa pagsisinungaling,” she added.
Jhelo also shared how she was deeply affected by Vice Ganda’s comments, expressing sympathy for her and hoping she would find justice. The conversation suggested that while Axel’s name had been cleared and Vice had defended his own actions, the blame had unfairly shifted to Christine.
“Sobrang naawa ako kay Christine. Sana mabigytan din siya ng justice,” the conversation reads. “Kasi parang ok na sila Axel, malinis na name nya tapos nilinis na din ni Vice ‘yung sa kanya, parang dating kasi nalipat kay Christine ‘yung sisi,” it added.
The controversy began on June 4, 2024, when Vice initially said he would apologize to Axel Cruz for criticizing his approach towards his ex-girlfriend, Maria Christine. However, Vice later retracted his apology, insisting that Axel’s behavior was inappropriate, despite Christine’s statement that she was not offended by her ex’s actions.

Vice explained that they respected Christine’s public claim of not being offended, but in reality, she was indeed offended. He emphasized that it was appropriate to call out Axel because every woman has the right to object if she feels uncomfortable with someone’s behavior. Vice maintained that acknowledging Christine’s discomfort was important, even if she publicly stated otherwise.
