Poor Young Boy Wears Tattered Disposable Face Mask at School Due to Poverty

DISPOSABLE FACE MASK – A poor young boy reportedly wears a tattered disposable face mask at school due to extreme poverty amid health crisis.

Over the past few months, the coronavirus disease continues to spread in different countries all around the world. The virus has already affects millions of people and took thousands of lives worldwide.

The World Health Organization has shared several safety tips on how to avoid possible exposure to the coronavirus disease. Wearing a face mask is also a must to avoid contracting the virus.

Many people are using different types of masks such as washable masks and disposable masks. Surgical masks are disposable and should be only used once and not to be recycled.

Recently, a Malaysian primary school teacher Fazri Hassan saw that one of his students wearing a dirty and tattered disposable mask while discussing the importance of wearing masks.

Hassan learned that the poor young boy is already using the mask for weeks and found out that most students find it expensive to buy disposable masks because their parents could not afford it.

Eventually, the teacher had decided to buy boxes of face masks and distribute it to the students to ensure the safety of his class.

At this time of pandemic, one of the government can do for its constituents specially the school children is to provide free supplies of face mask, face shield , alcohol, soap and water to these poor kids. These essentials are much cheaper than the tablets being distributed to Manila, Philippines, public school children because other problem that these poor school children will face is the internet connection.
