Concerned Student Shares Photo of Crowded School, Management Suspends Her
A concerned student who post the photo of crowded hallway at their school amid the coronavirus pandemic, she was suspended due to the incident.
Hannah Watters, a Grade 10 student of North Paulding High School (NPHS) in Dallas, Georgia has shared a photo of crowded school after most of the students neglected the physical distancing measures.
In the photo, it can be seen that the students are too close to each other in a crowded hallway. Some of them weren’t wearing masks along the congested hallway. The photo clearly shows that the school violated the health guidelines and protocols.
The 15-year-old student expressed her fear that she might get infected by the coronavirus due to the incident at their school.
“Going in [to school] I was nervous, but trusting that Paulding would keep us safe, But it was worse than I thought it was going to be. I didn’t feel safe, especially coming home to family after going to school,” Hannah said in a statement.
Unfortunately, the young lady has been suspended for uploading the photo on social media, which causes a negative impact on the school’s reputation. Paulding County Superintendent Dr. Brian Otott claimed that the photos were taken out of context.
However, Hannah’s mom expressed her objection to her daughter’s suspension. The suspension has been lifted and expected to go back to school on Monday (August 10, 2020).
