One of the loan offers of EastWest Bank is the Personal Loan, a multi-purpose financial solution that is open for both salaried and non-salaried individuals. It is non-collateral meaning no property of the borrower will be hold at risk under the loan offer.
Furthermore, there is no guarantor needed in applying for the loan offer. It is open not only for Filipinos but as well as foreign nationals who are permanently residing in the Philippines. With regards to the EastWest Bank Personal Loan requirements, the lists vary depending if you are employed or self-employed.
The differences between the two (2) sets of EastWest Bank Personal Loan requirements are the proof of income. Here are the documents that you must submit if you are employed:
- duly-accomplished EastWest Online Personal Loan Application Form
- photocopy of at least one (1) valid digitized photo-bearing and signature-bearing I.D.’s issued in the Philippines (i.e. Driver’s License, Philippine Passport, Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) I.D., SSS I.D., BIR ID, Voter’s I.D., Integrated Bar of the Philippines I.D., and Unified SSS/GSIS and TIN I.D.).
- Note: Company I.D.’s issued by private entities or institutions registered with or supervised or regulated either by the BSP, SEC or IC may also be submitted.
- proof of income:
- photocopy of latest ITR/BIR Form 2316; or
- photocopy of latest three months pay slips; or
- Certificate of Employment stating Salary, Position and Date Employed; or
- valid Credit Card reference or its latest Credit Card Statement of Account
There is another set of documents required for loan applicants who are self-employed. If you are self-employed, here are the documents that you must prepare and submit to EastWest Bank upon the loan application:
- duly-accomplished EastWest Online Personal Loan Application Form
- photocopy of at least one (1) valid digitized photo-bearing and signature-bearing I.D.’s issued in the Philippines (i.e. Driver’s License, Philippine Passport, Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) I.D., SSS I.D., BIR ID, Voter’s I.D., Integrated Bar of the Philippines I.D., and Unified SSS/GSIS and TIN I.D.).
- Note: Company I.D.’s issued by private entities or institutions registered with or supervised or regulated either by the BSP, SEC or IC may also be submitted.
- proof of income:
- photocopy of latest ITR/BIR Form 1701 and Audited Financial Statements
- DTI Registration Certificate (for Sole Proprietorship) or SEC Registration Certificate with page stating shares owned by the applicant (for Partnerships or Corporations)
- Business Permit
- valid Credit Card reference or its latest Credit Card Statement of Account
- Other documents may be required for further verification such as a Mayor’s Permit
There are also EastWest Bank Personal Loan requirements for the loan releasing. Here are the documents that the bank will require you to submit:
