Kind Netizen Helps Newly-Released Inmate Who Found Himself Without Any Money
A kind netizen has earned praise and admiration online for extending a helping hand to a newly released inmate who found himself without any money.
Jo Jo, a Facebook user, shared the photo of his encounter with a penniless ex-convict riding an e-jeep. The post immediately spread like wildfire online and garnered various reactions from the netizens.
Jojo’s story begins with a chance encounter with an ex-convict riding a modern jeepney. The newly released inmate politely asked the driver if he could stand since he didn’t have any money to pay the fare.
However, the driver and conductor chimed in, insisting that he should pay even if he stood. Jojo handed him cash for his fare and the passenger presented a document indicating his recent release from prison, after spending nearly 20 years in prison.
What made the situation even more disheartening was that the ex-convict had no money for the fare, and his family had not come to pick him up.
The kind netizen and his colleague provided the newly released inmate with the funds needed to complete his journey. His act of kindness was not just a random act but a reflection of the values instilled in him by his grandmother.
In another story, an ex-inmate turns policeman and starts business to help former “kosa”
The Good Samaritan revealed that he grew up in poverty and his grandmother taught him to help others who are in need. He explained that when you help someone, the person you help will remember it.

“Just want to share this. Nakiusap if pwede tumayo since wala siye pera diko maintindihan din pinakita niya ung folder may sinasabi siya.
Nakakalungkot.
LETS ALL BE KIND wala naman bayad maging mabuti sa kapwa”
