A section of Cotabato school was named after Jed Madela
JED MADELA – The singer was deeply touched by Albert Einstein School in Cotabato City after naming a section in Grade One after him.
The said school is a private institution for elementary and high school education. On his Facebook and Instagram accounts, Jed shared some photos taken outside the school classroom where his name prominently appears.
For Jed, this recognition holds special meaning, especially in times when he has felt unimportant. He expressed, “In times when I feel so unimportant and ignored in one corner, my Lord picks me up and gives me the tightest hug.”
“I am so honored. Woke up to these photos sent my my friend Manduyog Rashid. This is from Albert Einstein School in Cotabato where they named Grade One under me! I’m so happy!!! Sending my my love and thanks to Sir Edison, the faculty and the students! Hope to visit you in the future!!!” he added.
In the comments section of his Instagram post, many praised Jed, reassuring him of his importance and value. According to the school administration, all sections from nursery to Grade 12 have been named after “Filipino artists with positive contributions to the country and who have gained international recognition.”
