Billy Crawford speaks on friendship with It’s Showtime hosts
BILLY CRAWFORD – The singer-dancer-actor-television host opened up about the transformation in his friendships with his former co-hosts from “It’s Showtime”.
In a recent interview on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” on September 4, Tito Boy and Billy had a casual talk and it revolved around his busy schedule and how it has impacted his ability to stay connected with his former colleagues at It’s Showtime. His wife, actress Coleen Garcia, was also there during the interview.
Crawford mentioned that he maintains some level of connection with certain friends from the show. For example, he shared that he plays basketball with Vhong Navarro and has visited his house. However, he admitted that their interactions have become infrequent due to their hectic lives. He explained that they find it challenging to keep in touch not only with their “It’s Showtime” co-hosts but also with their own families.
He acknowledged that their relationship has evolved, and it’s not the same as it used to be. Crawford attributed this change, in part, to the significant shift that occurred in their lives when he and Garcia started a family.
When asked by Boy Abunda if they wished for their relationships to improve, Garcia clarified that when they do meet up with their friends, the connection is still there. They know many people, and sometimes it’s difficult to keep up with friends they’ve known for a long time.
Billy Crawford added that he believes all relationships can improve through communication and understanding, especially given the many changes that have taken place in the last three years. He acknowledged that there have been numerous transformations in their lives during that time.
