Vice Ganda: “I was not interviewed by anyone kaya nagtataka ako kung saan nila nakukuha ‘yung mga chika nilang iniwan ko si Awra.”
VICE GANDA – The “It’s Showtime” host recently confirmed that he’s still the manager of actor-comedian Awra Briguela.
It can be recalled that Awra Briguela made headlines last June after he got involved in a brawl in Poblacion, Makati. After the bar incident, rumors circulated that Vice Ganda has decided to drop Awra Briguela as his talent.
“Yeah, she is still my talent,” Vice said in an interview with ABS-CBN News, referring to Awra Briguela.
Vice also said in an interview with ABS-CBN News that he wasn’t interviewed by anyone and so he wondered where they get the rumors that he left Awra, adding that Awra is not allowed to be interviewed by anyone.
The comedian was also asked how he handled Awra’s recent arrest.
“Pinagpahinga ko muna siya ng ilang araw… para mahimasmasan,” Vice said. “Tapos ako din papahupain ko kasi siyempre galit din ako, mainit din ang ulo ko.”
Aside from this, the TV host also confirmed that he spoke to Awra’s father. He went on to clarify that he and Awra are not breaking up, adding that he will be there for him and he will not leave him, especially in his position in life where he needs guidance.
Vice also gave an update about Awra’s condition, saying that Awra is in a good condition now and he’s “trying to be better everyday”.
In the same interview, Vice recalled the road crash seen in a video that went viral early this week and also shared what had happened at that time – including his interaction with a couple who figured in the incident.
