Yassi Pressman: “Matagal na po talaga kami naghiwalay and I’m very, very grateful to Jon.”
YASSI PRESSMAN – The “Black Rider” actress recently spoke about her breakup with her non-showbiz ex-partner Jon Semira.
The actress recently starred in a film titled “Video City”. She’s one of the stars in upcoming Kapuso action series “Black Rider” alongside Ruru Madrid, Kylie Padilla, Matteo Guidicelli, Gladys Reyes, Empoy, Katrina Halili, Zoren Legaspi, and many more.
In a report on GMA News’ “24 Oras”, the actress said that she and her non-showbiz partner have broken up for a while now.
She added that she’s very grateful to him and he’s a great person. The actress also said that people should just respect their privacy, adding that Jon is a private person.
“Matagal na po talaga kami naghiwalay and I’m very, very grateful to Jon. He’s a great person,” the actress said. “Sana people just respect our privacy and siya rin po he’s a private person.”
Meanwhile, an engagement video uploaded by Notion in Motion and obtained by Inquirer showed the elaborate planning leading to the engagement of Yassi Pressman and Jon Semira.
Jon can be seen popping the question to the actress using a using a silver laminated revolving board that has the words “will you marry me” and two boxes with a “yes” and a “maybe later” switches. Yassi then pressed the “Yes” box and gave him a kiss and a hug before accepting the engagement ring.
According to a report on Inquirer, the two got engaged in an undisclosed location sometime in March but they chose not to make their engagement public.
Fast forward to July 22, a source close to the couple told Inquirer that Yassi decided to break off their engagement via text message. The source, who requested to Inquirer for anonymity, alleged that a “third party” was involved in their breakup and also claimed that Jon been nursing a broken heart.
Also in a report on “24 Oras”, Yassi denied the rumors linking her to Sandro Marcos and said that the viral video showing them cozying up with each other was “manipulated”.
“Hindi po ‘yun totoo at all,” Yassi said. “Nalagyan lang po ng malisya dahil naslow-mo, nalagyan ng music.”
