MJ LASTIMOSA – The TV host-beauty queen trended on the microblogging site, Twitter, after criticizing the “Barbie” movie.
In her tweet, MJ expressed, “Sobrang waley ng Barbie movie sayang 600 ko haha.” This tweet sparked numerous reactions from netizens, causing her name to trend on Tuesday, July 25, 2023.

One netizen criticized MJ’s understanding of the movie, suggesting that she might have only seen the comedic aspects without grasping the deeper themes. On the other hand, another netizen praised the movie for tackling important issues and challenging traditional gender roles.
Some netizens also defended MJ, stating that everyone has different preferences, and it’s essential to respect individual opinions without resorting to name-calling or being mean-spirited.
