Bar incident significantly impacted the career of Awra Briguela
AWRA BRIGUELA – The actor’s career has been significantly impacted following his involvement in a heated confrontation in Poblacion last month.
During his online show, Ogie Diaz discussed the repercussions of the incident on Awra’s career as an artist, revealing that there were reports of the actor being removed from his ongoing and future projects. According to Ogie, Awra was supposed to commence work on a project on July 1, but it did not push through due to the issue he was involved in. “Ang nakakaloka June 30 naganap ‘yung insidente sa Pobla, July 1 dapat ilo-launch, kasama si Awra sa isang show,” Ogie shared.
While Ogie admires Awra’s talent, he acknowledged that the CCTV footage, which clearly showed Awra’s behavior, spoke for itself. “Ako nagagalingan ako kay Awra, pero ‘yung attitude niya na kitang-kita sa CCTV nahusgahan si Awra do’n at lesson learned ito sa kanya. Big lesson ito sa kanya,” Ogie stated.
They also discussed the reaction of Awra’s father upon discovering that his son was not actually residing in one of Vice Ganda’s condominium units. It is worth noting that Vice Ganda served as Awra’s talent manager. Ogie mentioned that even Vice Ganda was surprised to learn that Awra had been using him as an alibi for his father. “Yun pala sa mga barkada [nakatira] si Awra, nag-e-enjoy sa barkada,” Ogie revealed.
Ogie believed that the incident in Poblacion would serve as a significant lesson for Awra. Additionally, Vice Ganda and Awra were reportedly set to have a meeting to discuss important matters.

The damage remedy that Awra could do now is to kneel over a national TV and social media of his remorse for what he did, no more self-justification, confess that what he did is not good, and not to be looked after by the Alphas and Gen Zs.
