Bianca Manalo: “Ready na ako kasi …”
BIANCA MANALO – Here’s what the “Magandang Dilag” star said when she was asked if she’s ready to settle down.
The beauty queen-turned-actress entered the showbiz industry after her reign in Binibining Pilipinas. She starred in Kapamilya teleseryes Juanita Banana, Aryana, On The Wings Of Love, My Super D, FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano, and The Broken Marriage Vow.
It was last November 2022 when the actress signed a contract with Sparkle GMA Artist Center. Her first teleserye on GMA Network is “Magandang Dilag” where she plays the role of “Riley” — a politician’s trophy wife.
According to a report on Pikapika, the actress clarified that she’s not yet engaged to her partner, Senator Sherwin Gatchalian.
Bianca and Senator Gatchalian have been in a relationship for 5 years. When she was asked if she’s ready to settle down, she said that she’s ready when her partner asks her to marry him.
However, she said that she still wants to focus on her career in the showbiz industry.
“Ready na ako, kasi I’m not getting any younger. Thirty-seven na ako this year. So, ‘Lord, sige ibigay mo na Lord.’ Why not? What will happen, will happen, ‘di ba?” she said. “Pero sa ngayon, parang gusto ko pa rin mag-focus sa career ko. Nakiusap ako na huwag niya muna ako pigilan. Gusto ko pa ring umarangkada!”
She also admitted that she made a big adjustment as an actress because it was her first time working with people at GMA Network.

According to the beauty queen-turned-actress, she’s affected when fellow “Magandang Dilag” stars Maxine Medina and Angela Alarcon have a scene where they oppress Herlene Budol.
Bianca also said that it’s hard to be a villain as she cried when she did it to Herlene because “sensitive pa naman ako”, adding that it’s really a challenge for her. She then took the opportunity to express her gratitude to GMA Network for giving her a role that’s different from what she has done in her past shows.
