DOH reported new COVID-19 cases in the Philippines as of today, July 14, 2020.
The Department of Health (DOH) on Tuesday reported new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in the Philippines as of today, July 14, 2020.
According to DOH’s COVID-19 Case Bulletin #122 dated July 14, 2020, the Department of Health reported 634 new coronavirus cases wherein 302 were classified as “fresh” cases and the remaining 332 were identified as “late” cases. This brought the total number of confirmed cases of coronavirus disease to 57,545.
According to the Department of Health, the fresh cases recorded on Tuesday were based on its test results released to patients within the last three days, while the late cases recorded were based on the test results released to patients four days ago or more.

Aside from the number of confirmed cases, the Department of Health also reported 88 new recoveries and six additional fatalities. This brought the total number of recoveries to 20,459 and total coronavirus deaths to 1,603.
Moreover, the Department of Health reported 35,483 total active cases as stated in its COVID-19 Case Bulletin #122 dated July 14, 2020.
The Department of Health identified the top five areas with the highest number of coronavirus cases as of July 14 only: Metro Manila with 360 new cases, Laguna with 58 new cases, Cebu with 32 new cases, Bulacan with 23 new cases, and Cavite with 21 new cases.
