ABS-CBN Bosses Gives Christmas Message to Viewers
ABS-CBN BOSSES – The Kapamilya executives expressed their gratitude to the viewers during their Christmas special tribute.
It is no secret to the public that ABS-CBN faced a lot of challenges since their bout for the renewal of their franchise to operate on free TV. In 2020, the Kapamilya network was shut down after they were not allowed to renew their franchise due to tax allegations.
Meanwhile, despite that they were not able to renew their franchise and get to operate on free TV, ABS-CBN found several other ways to continue bringing entertainment to the viewers. Their shows and programs were aired in different platforms.
ABS-CBN gave their artists the liberty to transfer to other networks when they were shut down. Despite the go signal from the network, several actors, actresses, and singers remained a Kapamilya. The network also has a lot of avid viewers.
Recently, during their Christmas special, the ABS-CBN bosses expressed their gratitude to the viewers. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, in his message, Kapamilya network chairman Mark Lopez stressed that they, in ABS-CBN, only manage to continue their service to the public because of the continued trust of the viewers which give them strength.
“Sa mga tagapanood, maraming salamat sa inyong mainit na pagtanggap sa aming mga programa. Sa mga sponsors, salamat sa tuloy-tuloy na suporta. Merry Christmas po sa inyong lahat,” Lopez said.
ABS-CBN President and CEO Carlo Katigbak stressed reaching the end of 2022 and stressed that a new year comes with new plans and goals. Based on the report, he expressed their gratitude to the viewers for being with the network in dreaming and praying.
Also one of the ABS-CBN bosses, Kapamilya network broadcast chief Cory Vidanes expressed their prayer to God to continue giving them the capability to continue their service to the people. She stressed that the network believes “that the Filipinos deserve the best” so they are hoping to better their services.
