Jason Dy has a message to netizens commenting on his weight.
The Voice Philippines Season 2 grand winner and Prince of Soul, Jason Dy, has reacted over the netizens’ comments on his weight.
Earlier, the 29-year-old singer took to the micro-blogging site, Twitter to express his frustration over netizens commenting not on his music but on his weight.
“You record a song, come up with vocal arrangements, mix and master it, shoot a video, take days to edit a video and all people can comment on is my weight,” he noted.
Jason Dy was referring to his rendition of Westlife’s hit single “Forever” along with singer Jay-r which he uploaded on the video-sharing site, YouTube.
“Even when I’m literally starving myself and working out everyday,” he said. “As I’m getting older I’m finding it harder to lose weight. I’m trying guys. Sorry an,” he added.
According to One Music PH, Jason Dy opened up that he was hurt with the comments because some of them came from the people he knew.
“Worst part is that it’s coming from people you know. They’re microagressions but they still cut.” Jason Dy said.
But fans and supporters of the singer came out to defend the latter amidst harsh comments.
