What is the status now of Aiko Melendez’s relationship with Jay Khonghun?
A question about the status of relationship of actress Aiko Melendez and politician Jay Khonghun surfaced due to this reason.
In March of 2018, Aiko confirmed her relationship with Jay who was the mayor of Subic back then. From that, the actress has become more open about her current love life. She would share her sweet photos with the politician on her Instagram account and even their out-of-town and out-of-the country trips.
However, rumors that their relationship may be on the rocks surfaced just recently. Based on the article from the Philippine Entertainment Portal, the speculations started to arise during Mother’s Day.
It is because for the past years, Jay, who is now the vice-governor of Zambales, used to greet the actress. However, last May 10, he did not post anything about the award-winning actress.
Even Aiko Melendez has no post on her social media account if she received any gift from her boyfriend. It was also said that the actress has no recent update regarding the relief operations that she and the vice-governor have started amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Her last post about this was on April 17 and she shared that she donated protective gear on April 27.
In line with the speculations, PEP asked Aiko through Messenger if how is her relationship with Jay. The reply of the actress to this was a smiling emoji. When asked again, based on the article, Aiko did not reply.
