Three Injured as Safety Fence Collapses at Super Junior Seoul Concert
Three fans were injured during a Super Junior concert in Seoul on Sunday, April 5, when a safety fence collapsed as the crowd surged forward during an encore performance.
The accident occurred at the KSPO Dome during the last of three Seoul shows celebrating the group’s 20th anniversary and was part of their “Super Show 10” world tour. According to SM Entertainment, the agency representing Super Junior, the injured spectators were quickly taken to the hospital for treatment of sprains and bruises, with doctors recommending about two weeks of rest.
SM Entertainment issued a formal apology to those affected and their families, taking full responsibility for the incident and promising stricter safety checks in the future. The collapse happened when member Ryeowook approached fans in the audience, prompting a surge that caused the fence in the seating area to give way.

Super Junior, formed in 2005 by SM Entertainment founder Lee Soo-man, consists of members Leeteuk, Heechul, Yesung, Shindong, Sungmin, Eunhyuk, Siwon, Donghae, Ryeowook, and Kyuhyun.
