Grade 2 Student Stuns Crowd with 33 Medals
Grade 2 student Daniel Elijah B. Signo stole the spotlight during his school’s Elementary Recognition Day on March 23, 2026, at the General Trias Convention Center.
When his name was called, the crowd of students, teachers, and parents erupted in cheers and applause. Daniel’s achievement was extraordinary—he received a total of 33 medals, far surpassing anyone’s expectations. His proud mother, YouScooper Jane, shared videos and photos of the moment, expressing her overwhelming joy and gratitude to God for her son’s accomplishments.
Although the family is usually shy, they felt an incredible rush of excitement as they saw the audience cheering loudly while Daniel walked on stage. Daniel’s recognition doesn’t end there; more international medals are on the way, adding to his growing collection of awards.
“Sobrang saya po and thankful, lalo na kay Lord. Pag-akyat ng stage, mahiyain kaming pamilya pero lahat po mga kids, teachers, kapuwa parents nagtilian at sigawan. Ramdam po namin ang suporta,” he said.
His parents shared a heartfelt message for him, reminding Daniel that he is deeply loved and supported. They encouraged him to continue pursuing his passions in ways that benefit his growth, to remain humble, and to keep praying, always giving thanks for the blessings he has received.
“Daniel anak, mahal na mahal ka namin ni Daddy mo, palagi kaming nakasuporta sa’yo, anong makahiligan mong gawin na alam namin para sa ikabubuti mo. Always stay humble and continue praying kay God para magpasalamat sa lahat ng biyaya sa’yo,” his mom said.
Daniel’s story is a celebration of talent, dedication, and the power of family support.
