Teacher Board Exam Examinee Turned Away for Being Slightly Late
TEACHER BOARD EXAM – An examinee became emotional after being stopped from entering the testing site for the Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers in Koronadal City for arriving just four minutes late.
In a video shared online, the examinee, Rasiya EB, explained that she was not allowed to take the exam even though she was already at the site. She said she had to step out briefly to print a newer copy of her Notice of Admission (NOA) because the exam staff told her that only the updated version would be accepted.
“Nandito ako sa Koronadal sa Marvel 1. Hindi po nila ako pina-exam. Na-late lang ng 4 minutes kasi pinrint ko pa ‘yung NOA ko na bago. Tapos hindi na po nila ako pinapasok,” she said.

She said she first showed an older NOA but was asked for the 2026 version. In a hurry, she went to print the document and returned as quickly as she could. Still, when she came back, she was denied entry for being slightly late, even though it was only four minutes.

Rasiya also noted that everything else was already in order. She had an assigned room, a seat number, and her name was listed among the examinees. Despite this, her requests to be allowed inside were denied, leaving her visibly upset and disappointed. In the video, she showed her documents while recounting her experience, highlighting how a minor paperwork issue prevented her from taking the exam she had prepared for.
The incident quickly spread on social media, drawing many reactions from the public. Many expressed sympathy and frustration at how strict rules affected examinees, especially given the effort and preparation required for board exams. For some, the situation sparked discussions about how rigid exam rules can impact candidates striving to become licensed teachers. It also highlighted the emotional and practical challenges candidates face when navigating strict administrative requirements during high-stakes exams.
