Trump Questions Obama’s Disclosure on Extraterrestrial Life
ALIENS? – US President Donald Trump criticized former President Barack Obama for allegedly revealing classified information when discussing extraterrestrial life and Area 51.
Speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One en route to Georgia, Trump said Obama was not supposed to share such details and described it as a major mistake. When asked if he had evidence of aliens, Trump admitted he did not know whether they were real. The White House offered no further comment, and Obama’s office has not responded to requests for clarification.
Obama addressed the topic during a podcast interview, explaining that while life may exist elsewhere in the vast universe, there is no evidence that aliens have visited Earth. He clarified that Area 51, a classified Air Force base in Nevada, does not house underground alien facilities and that no conspiracy hides such information from the president. Obama emphasized that his statements were not based on classified documents and that the vast distances in space make it unlikely for extraterrestrial life to reach Earth.
“They’re real, but I haven’t seen them, and they’re not being kept in … Area 51. There’s no underground facility unless there’s this enormous conspiracy and they hid it from the president of the United States,” Obama said.
During his presidency, Obama stated he saw no evidence of aliens contacting humans and encouraged science and reason over speculation in discussions about life beyond Earth.
Meanwhile, the US government has investigated reports of unidentified flying objects in recent years. Senior Pentagon officials confirmed in 2022 that no evidence exists of aliens visiting or crash-landing on Earth. A Pentagon report in 2024 reiterated that no extraterrestrial technology has been found in government investigations since World War II, with most sightings ultimately identified as ordinary objects or natural phenomena.
