Ejay Falcon on Bong Revilla: “Nakakalungkot po yung mga nangyayari”
EJAY FALCON – The actor expressed concern for former Senator Bong Revilla, who is currently detained at New Quezon City Jail in Payatas, Quezon City, facing graft and malversation of public funds charges related to flood control projects.
Ejay recalled working with Bong in the action-comedy film Walang Matigas Na Pulis Sa Matinik na Misis, describing him as kind and supportive, even helping train him for fight scenes. Bong also advised him to continue learning and improving, especially when involved in public service.
Ejay admitted feeling saddened by the corruption issues but said he could not comment on the legal cases. What worries him most is Bong’s condition in jail. Despite Bong being a well-known actor and former senator, Ejay noted that life behind bars is difficult. He hopes Bong stays safe and well and believes that justice should be served—holding the guilty accountable while clearing the innocent.

When asked about politics and rumors of him running for governor of Oriental Mindoro in 2028, Ejay laughed and said it’s too early to think about elections. He wants to focus on his acting career after completing the Kapamilya series Roja and preparing for his next project, Kappa-tiran, directed by Neal “Buboy” Tan. Ejay said he is not closing the door to politics, but any decision will depend on the right timing and opportunities.
Ejay emphasized that his current priority is his work as an actor, especially after losing his 2025 congressional bid in Oriental Mindoro’s second district. Regarding Bong, he urged the public to pray for truth, integrity, and justice, hoping for fairness in handling corruption cases across the country.

Bong Revilla is scheduled for arraignment on Monday, February 9, for malversation and graft charges. Supporters will hold an “Ecumenical Prayer Rally for Truth, Integrity, Due Process, Peace, and Justice for Senator Bong Revilla” on Sunday, February 7, at Freedom Park near Aguinaldo Shrine in Kawit, Cavite.
