Generous Donation of Bretman Rock Faces Initial Confusion
BRETMAN ROCK – The Filipino-American social media star donated ₱550,000 to his former elementary school, Sanchez Mira West Central Elementary School in Cagayan. However, the donation caused some confusion before it was properly acknowledged.
Bretman shared on a podcast that he sent the money directly to the school principal and even made an ad for Remitly to announce it. The donation was intended to give back to the school he attended as a child.
Some teachers and staff, however, were initially unaware of the contribution. Several faculty members reportedly contacted Bretman, asking why they had not been informed and where the funds were. Concerned, he reached out to his cousin, who is also a teacher at the school, to help clarify the situation.
