Alvin Aragon Confesses to Past Theft, Including Kris Lawrence’s Cellphone
ALVIN ARAGON — The former StarStruck contestant and now outspoken Christian made headlines after revealing a troubled past marked by theft and reckless behavior.
In a viral confession shared on social media, he admitted to stealing from family members, neighbors, and colleagues during his early showbiz days. Among his victims were his grandmother, from whom he took thousands of pesos; singer Kris Lawrence, whose cellphone he stole inside the artist’s home; and a co-worker, from whom he took nearly ₱40,000 to spend on shopping and other personal expenses. Aragon described these actions as part of a wayward youth he now regrets.
Meanwhile, Aragon faced significant hardships early in life. He lost his mother to cancer at age five and his father shortly after, leaving him in the care of his strict grandmother. During adolescence, he lived a transient lifestyle, often staying with friends or relatives, and struggled to find stability while pursuing a career in showbiz. He gained public attention as one of the first eliminated contestants—or “Avengers”—in the pilot season of GMA-7’s StarStruck and later appeared in various television dramas, though his career was brief and unstable.

Aragon later turned toward faith and became involved in Christian ministry, framing his public statements and radio appearances in biblical terms. His religious journey also shaped his personal life, particularly his marriage to former SexBomb Girls member Izzy Trazona, with whom he celebrated 14 years of marriage in 2026. The couple has built a blended family, combining children from previous relationships with three daughters of their own.

However, Aragon re-emerged in 2026 amid controversy. He publicly criticized the image and performances of the SexBomb Girls, claiming they sent the wrong message to the youth. He also expressed strict religious views regarding gender and sexuality, commenting on his stepdaughter Sofia’s transgender identity and warning that rejecting biblical teachings could lead to divine judgment.
