Vlogger Bench TV Speaks Up After DSWD Shuts Down His Care Facility

Vlogger Bench TV Reacts to Closure of Care Facility

BENJIE PERILLO – The vlogger, also known as Bench TV, has accepted the decision of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) to stop the operations of his care facility in San Pedro, Laguna. The closure, reported on January 29, happened because the facility did not have a proper license, and the authorities acted to make sure the rules were followed.

In a social media post shared on January 30, Bench TV said it was right to follow the law and that the authorities were just doing their job. He told people not to be sad about the decision and explained that everyone affected could understand why it was necessary. He also said that even if the work we do is good, there are still rules that must be followed, and the DSWD was just carrying out its responsibilities.

Bench TV pointed out that having the right permits and running an organized, licensed facility is the solution to problems like this. He encouraged people to cooperate rather than get angry or criticize the authorities. He reminded his supporters to avoid saying harsh things about the officials and trust that things will work out in the end.

He also shared how emotional he felt about the care facility, saying the staff and residents had become like family. While he admitted the closure was sad, he said that with patience and working together, the situation could be fixed. He asked everyone to unite for the safety of those in care and the benefit of the community.

“[I]sa lang po ang nakikita ko na sulosyon sa lahat ang magkaroon tayu ng permit at maayus na facility hangad din naman nila ung kaligtasan ng lahat. [M]agtulungan nalang po sana at alam ko na ndi tayu pababayan ni Lord. [Hu]wag napo kayu ma sad at wag nyo na sila batuhin ng mga salita na bad ! Alam ko na may ibibigay satin c Lord na mga anghel para malampasan natin lahat ito at maging maayus ang lahat,” he said.
