Sean Raval Speaks Out for AJ Raval Amid Criticism
SEAN RAVAL – The brother of actress AJ Raval defended her against online bashers and critics.
Sean, one of 18 children of action star Jeric Raval, spoke to the media during the press conference for the film Spring in Prague, starring Paolo Gumabao and Macedonian actress Sara Sandeva, in which Sean also appears in the music video. He is part of Borracho Artists and Talents, managed by lawyer and movie producer Atty. Ferdinand Topacio.
Sean admitted that it hurts to see his sister criticized, but he understands that showbiz comes with its share of scrutiny, and even outside the industry, people will always have opinions. One of the issues targeting AJ involved her decision to keep her three children with partner Aljur Abrenica private. Sean said he doesn’t feel the need to advise his sister because she is strong, resilient, and capable of handling her own challenges.
He also addressed the bashers, urging them to move on and not judge without knowing the full story. Sean mentioned that he is also close to Aljur and has a positive relationship with him.
Sean has received comments that he closely resembles his father, Jeric Raval. While he appreciates the comparison, he wants to make a name for himself and be recognized for his own talent rather than just his likeness to his father. He expressed his passion for being an action star, following in his father’s footsteps but on his own terms.
Previously, Sean appeared in the Kapamilya series Since I Found You, starring Piolo Pascual, JC de Vera, and Arci Muñoz. Regarding their large family, Sean said reunions are usually done in smaller groups, but all 18 siblings know each other and continue to be supported by their father.
