Rider Denies ‘Sabwatan’ and Reward Claims in Viral Missing Bride Case

Rider Explains How He Helped a Missing Bride Without Any Reward

TRUTH REVEALED — A motorcycle rider has strongly denied claims that he was involved in the disappearance of bride-to-be Sherra De Juan, following widespread rumors on social media about an alleged conspiracy and reward. The rider, Rodel Cyrus Dela Rosa, came forward to explain how he encountered Sherra and helped her return safely to her family.

Sherra went missing a few days before her scheduled wedding to her fiancé, Mark Arjay Reyes. This caused alarm among her loved ones and quickly gained public attention online. Her disappearance led to speculation, including accusations directed at the rider who later helped her. Rodel clarified that he had no connection to Sherra and met her purely by chance while working as a rider in Laoac, Pangasinan.

Rodel explained that he was focused on his delivery work and checking his phone when Sherra suddenly approached him. She was crying, visibly shaken, and asking for help. At that moment, he did not recognize her as the missing bride being shared on social media. Her distressed condition prompted him to stop and listen.

To better understand her situation, Rodel asked where she was from and the name of her fiancé. When she mentioned Quezon City and identified her partner as Mark Arjay Reyes, he searched the name online and realized that she was the missing woman being reported. He then informed Sherra that many people were already looking for her.

Rodel offered to take her directly to a police station or allow her to rest first so she could eat and clean up. Sherra chose to regain her strength before going to the authorities. After eating, Rodel lent her his phone so she could contact her family. The call became emotional, as Sherra and her loved ones cried with relief upon hearing from each other.

Rodel firmly denied claims that he was part of any plan behind Sherra’s disappearance or that he received a reward for helping her. He stressed that he acted out of concern and kindness, not for money or attention, and only wanted to help someone in distress return home safely.
