RHEN ESCAÑO – The actress and model has strongly denied allegations that she cheated on her ex-boyfriend, Kapuso actor Kokoy de Santos.

Although the show did not mention Rhen by name, viewers drew connections, prompting her to address the matter publicly.
On her Instagram story on Thursday, January 22, Rhen responded firmly, stating that she had remained silent for years to protect Kokoy’s reputation. She emphasized that, despite her long-held discretion, she has never been unfaithful and that portraying her as a villain in his story was unfair and manipulative. She highlighted the dangers of one-sided narratives, explaining that using someone’s personal life to sell a story, claim victimhood, or harm another person’s career is not storytelling but cruelty, which she described as unforgivable.
Rhen Escaño also addressed those who tend to believe only one side of a story, urging the public to seek the truth and exercise fairness. At the very least, she appealed to people to be mindful and kind with their words, especially when forming opinions about others. Her message stressed the importance of not jumping to conclusions based on partial information, particularly in situations involving private relationships.
As of now, Kokoy de Santos has not publicly commented on Rhen’s statements or the controversy surrounding the episode. The relationship between the two actors was private throughout its duration and reportedly ended in 2023.
