Ramon Christopher Reacts to Jericho Dating His Daughter Janine
RAMON CHRISTOPHER – The actor has spoken for the first time about Jericho Rosales, the boyfriend of his daughter Janine Gutierrez, and shared that he is happy and supportive of their relationship. The couple has been seen as strong and steady, with many people believing that their relationship may last long.
During a media interview at the red carpet premiere of Ramon’s film Breaking the Silence on January 10, he was asked about his thoughts on Jericho as Janine’s partner. He explained that what matters most to him is his daughter’s happiness, and as long as she is happy, he is happy as well. He made it clear that he does not judge or rank who is good or not good for his daughter, and that he trusts her choices.
“Ako kasi basta happy siya, happy ako. Ganoon lang ako. Walang akong ‘okay si ganito,’ ‘okay si ganoon,’” he said.
Ramon also shared that they recently went on a family vacation together and said that the whole family was complete during the trip, though he did not clearly confirm whether Jericho joined them. Still, he spoke positively about Jericho, saying he has no negative comments about him and that, based on his experience, Jericho is a kind and good person. He added that they have spent time together before and that he has seen how respectful and decent Jericho is, which gives him peace of mind as a father.
Ramon also said that seeing Janine and Jericho happy makes him feel happy and relaxed about their relationship. Aside from personal matters, he also mentioned that he is open to working with Jericho in the future if they are given a chance to be part of the same project, showing that he has no issues with his daughter’s partner on both a personal and professional level.
